1/6/2024 0 Comments Dying light 2 release mapFollowing its delay earlier this year, Techland is yet to give us any juicy details about the new Dying Light 2 expansion, but you can be sure that we'll let you know once word is out. You'll need to spend real-world money to purchase the Dying Light Points, much like any other premium in-game currency, but all players who log into the game before October 7 will be given 500 "DL Points" as a bonus. In-game Community Map support for Dying Light 2 Stay Human players on console (PlayStation and Xbox) has been mentioned by Techland and is expected to release later this year. Speaking of event rewards, Techland has introduced a new premium currency called Dying Light Points, which can be spent on skin bundles from the in-game store. Others include Hitman 3, Control, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Kingdom Hearts. Collecting these will help you reach your event goals. Dying Light 2 is one of many multiplatform games that Switch players can only access through cloud streaming. The event runs until September 21 and fills the streets and Dark Hollows with Infected Robbers loaded with the new Red Diamonds. If you plan on jumping into Dying Light 2 to check out the new Summertime Update content, you could unlock some fancy rewards thanks to the new Payday 2 crossover event. On top of that, a new modifier called "Alterations," will now introduce short-time activities to the world for a bit of extra fun. Well, make do is a little unfair, some of the ranged weapons are beastly. You have options for full, limited, and minimum gore, which is great if you're a bit squeamish, but less gore also reduces the load on your system which is great for streamers and content creators too. In the meantime, Dying Light 2 players have to make do with bows and crossbows for ranged weapons. Additionally, changes have been made to the game's Brutality level, which now includes even more gore, but also comes with a new setting so you can choose how much of the good stuff you see. You'll find the Community Maps tab in the game's main menu, where you'll be able to pick where you'd like to slaughter the infected next. Techland partnered with mod.io last year to add the feature to Dying Light 2 on PC and it seems to have been a success, so now you can access the content on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One as well. While the Summertime Update packs in a host of bug fixes, balancing tweaks, quality-of-life improvements, and new knife animations, its crowning jewel is the addition of community-created maps.
